Explore historic roadways, rail lines, canals and covered bridges of our region.
Meet the folks of Belmont Trolley, working to return historic streetcars to the rails once used by the Piedmont and Northern RR. We head to Fort Mill to explore abandoned segments of Nation Ford Rd. We’ll explore the ruins of Landsford Canal and see why this piece of infrastructure only operated for a decade. Lastly we head to Catawba Co to get a look at one of two remaining covered bridges in NC.
